Doug and Mary Huggins Farewell Party

A bittersweet event was held at the Powerhouse Theatre recently to say goodbye to Doug and Mary Huggins, who are moving to Maple Ridge to be closer to family.
Doug and Mary were founding members of the Powerhouse and as can be seen from our archive pages have been involved in many many productions. Mary's acting and Dougs's set building are legendary. Doug also used his architectural skills on the original conversion of the Theatre and all subsequent renovations, while Mary directed many of the Powerhouse productions.
They will be missed by their many friends here in Vernon, who wish them all the best in Maple Ridge.
