It’s Snowing on Saltspring

Taking place in a cozy Saltspring Island bungalow where Bill, an insecure dentist, who is going through a mid-life crisis, and his wife Sarah, who is 9 1/2 months pregnant, are anxiously awaiting the birth of their first child. Soon a wacky group of Islanders appear, and Christmas is thrown into crisis. However, a well-known figure appears, and the story takes another bizarre and hilarious turn.

Nichole Cavendish, originally from Penticton, is one of Canada’s premier actors and directors. She describes this play as “strange and love filled”. It was based very loosely on ‘The Wizard of Oz’. Anyone who knows Niki is aware of her wicked sense of humour.
